Rummels Road Campground
Rummels Road Campground is located on the east bank of the Wisconsin River just south of Rummels Road approximately 2½ miles north of Conover off USH 45 (see map below). The campground is for primitive camping, and includes free standing cooking grill, a fire ring with attached grill, and a picnic table. This campground may be accessed via the Wisconsin River, and is just a few miles south of the world famous Headwaters of the Wisconsin River at Lac Vieux Desert Lake, where the County also maintains an historical marker, scenic park and picnic area.
There is a latrine and small shelter located at the Campground.
Access is walk-in or water only, no parking of motor vehicles is permitted. This Campground has direct access to the Wisconsin River, providing canoeing, kayaking, and fishing opportunities.
A self-registration station is located on premises.
